I read the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield last year in school. At first I was extremely hesitant to picking this series up, but after I read the first book I couldnt wait to get my hands on the next one. iv rad the soul surfer and the where the red fern grows and my side of the mountain and wacht them to. i wud rekumand all 3 of them but warning my side of the mountain and where the red fern grows both have sad ending.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman
I just finished reading a book called Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know how it would end. I didn't like the characters at the beginning, but there is a reason for that. Keep reading and there is a good lesson in the end!
I loved the book "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. Very similar in excitement to "The Hunger Games"! Can't wait fo the next one!

I am still a fan of the Percy Jackson series. If you haven't read them, you should!
To Kill a Mockingbird is a classic and such a good read. It is one of my favorite books. The 1962 movie is interesting to watch after finishing the book.
To tell the truth To Kill a Mockingbird has a great storyline for a book of its time period. There are so many great themes like Loss of Innocence, not to mention the story behind Boo Radley... Definitely a must read.
A book that I would recommend to someone my age would have to be Things not seen by Andrew Clements I know it is for a younger age group but it is a great book.
I have read a bunch of books this past summer. And the best one so far is a book called A Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. It's about a group of people that hide in their town for protection from these weird zombies. But it's a great book that I would recommend to anybody.
Ashley, I tottaly agree with you on the book before I fall I just finished it and it was realllly good. I love books like that one. It was very put together. :)
A book I recommed is Two girls of gettysburg by Lisa Klein, I read it awhile ago but I remember loveing it, I mainly recommend it to girls though :)
One of my favorite books is "Shakespeare Secret" by Elise Broach. It is a mystery that is so compelling you just can't put the book down! If you like exciting endings, you would love this book!
My favorite changes a lot, but right now it's a tie...
The first one is Dies The Fire by S. M. Stirling. Technology stops working and people have to start doing everything by hand like in the olden days. Waaay old...
And the second is Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I don't even know where to begin to explain this one, so I just won't. It's a prequel to The Da Vinci Code.
I would recommend "The Children of Hurin" by J.R.R. Tolkien. I like pretty much anything by Tolkien.
The reason I like his writing is because it takes me to a whole different world with similarities to our world as well as fantasy combined.
Johannes Cabel the necromancer is a great book about a remarkably mean protagonist. it has eccelent language and story. as well as vampires, zombies, and freakishly skinny people.
I would recommend Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is a great action book for boys and love story for girls. It is intense and fun! The protagonist, Katness Everdean, is strong and loyal. - Rebekah Denning.
I have always been really interested in the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling.I basically grew up reading them all of the Harry Potter books because I love the story line and how the stories bring you to a whole different world while I'm reading. The only thing that I don't like about the books is how long they are but from my perspective it's worth the reading and recommend them to anyone who likes anything to do with fairy tales and long stories.
My favorite book series is Harry Potter, followed closely by The Hunger Games. But Harry will always be my first love.
The books that I think that everyone at least once in their life time are the books by Louis Lamour. My great grandfather used to read them all the time so I picked it up and had my head blown.
A book I would recommend would have to be "To kill a mockingbird" It was an amazing book I enjoyed it very much and I know other people will too.

the two princesses of bamarre by gail carson levine, the warriors series by erin hunter, the underland chronicals by suzanne collins,and the artemis fowl series by eoin colfer. all are fiction books and all are amazing books.
