Advice Wanted!

There are seven weeks left in the first semester. Some students are right on track, while others are feeling overwhelmed and behind in their courses.

What advice would you give to a student who is behind in English?
Do you have a trick to staying on track in your courses?

Thanks for your help,

I have one trick as to stay on track and that is if I would like to get into a good college then I have to try to get my grades up try to pass all my classes. If I don't then I can't get into a good college.

Same here, Taylor! I really want to get into a good college. So, that is what keeps me going. If I didn't have something to look forward to in the future, I wouldn't be doing what I am doing now.
But if you do get behind, in any subject in general, I suggest that you work hard on weekends and whenever you have spare time in getting caught up. It can be really hard, but it always pays out in the end when you are all caught up.

I have been behind most of this semester because I started in October. I've had to try and get all my classes current. My advice is to not let yourself get behind. Stay current so you don't get overwhelmed and start feeling like you'll never catch up.

My advice is to keep a positive attitude towards your school work. I can tell when my attitude towards school starts to go down because I start to rush things like tests sometimes. So my advice is to keep your mind positive and not negative.

My advice would be to work in a quiet place like a library because i cannot work in a place where the tv is loud or other distractions.

I have learned the hard way that the best way to keep up is to what look at the calendar every day and even look a week ahead.

As being a student that got behind in English. Don't wait tell last minute to turn in your assignments. I have learned that the tough way, an am saying I should have never fell behind I have no excuse.

The last one was from me, about not getting behind in my class. Because I did get behind, an I had no excuse.
